Entitled with a unique brief of constructing an entertainment hub for a family of 3 on the terrace of a 2600 sq.ft plot. The design was born keeping in mind orientation, climate and comfort. Being North-South there was considerably less heat gain and in order to gain thermal comfort open able clerestory windows were proposed as well as operable windows at the bottom allowing for cross-ventilation. Apart from the built up area the terrace landscaping was also undertaken which involved designing a controlled micro-climate using plants, water bodies and sunshades.
